Refund & Returns Policy

At Steigen, we understand that mistakes happen. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer an exchange or refund in accordance with the policy below.

1. Returns Window

We offer a 14-day return period from the date of purchase.

If more than 14 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or exchange (excluding approved Blister Free & Performance Guarantee claims — see below).

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a standard return:

  • Items must be unused and unwashed
  • Items must be in the same condition as received
  • All swing tags and hygiene stickers must remain attached
  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

3. Hygiene Policy

For hygiene reasons:

  • Briefs and crop tops must be tried on over your own underwear
  • Returned items must remain in new condition

We may refuse returned items where we reasonably believe hygiene requirements have not been met.

4. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Items not in original condition
  • Items damaged or missing parts not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 14 days after purchase

5. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • A refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • Please allow several business days for the refund to appear (processing times vary depending on your payment provider)

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Return shipping costs (if applicable) may be deducted from your refund.

6. Exchanges (Manufacturing Faults Only)

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged due to a manufacturing fault.

We will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address.

Blister Free & Performance Guarantee

Valid for 12 Months from Date of Purchase

At Steigen, we proudly stand behind the performance and quality of our socks.

Our Blister Free & Performance Guarantee is valid for 12 months from the original date of purchase and covers:

  • Blisters caused while running, walking or riding in Steigen socks
  • Premature holes developing under normal athletic use

Blister Claims (Within 12 Months)

If you experience a blister while wearing Steigen socks during running, walking or riding within 12 months of purchase:

  • You may be eligible for one replacement pair
  • Or a refund for one pair
  • Limited to one pair or refund per person
  • Proof of purchase is required

Hole Replacement Policy (Within 12 Months)

If a hole develops in your Steigen socks within 12 months of purchase due to a manufacturing or performance-related issue under normal use:

  • We will provide one replacement pair
  • Limited to one replacement pair per customer
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Photo evidence of the hole must be provided
  • Replacement applies to genuine Steigen socks only

What Is Not Covered

This guarantee does not cover:

  • Deliberate damage
  • Damage caused by incorrect sizing
  • Damage caused by ill-fitting footwear
  • Cuts, abrasions, or external tearing
  • Damage caused by sharp toenails
  • General wear and tear beyond reasonable performance expectations
  • Commercial or high-abrasion misuse

We reserve the right to assess each claim individually.

  • Proof of purchase
  • Photos of the issue

Why Steigen Socks Help Reduce Blisters

Blisters are primarily caused by:

1. Moisture
Steigen socks contain no cotton, wool or bamboo — fibres that retain moisture. Our blend of Lycra and Microfiber Nylon promotes moisture-wicking and quick drying.

Our design includes:

  • Increased Lycra for arch support
  • A secure fit to minimise air pockets
  • Reinforced sock bands to reduce slipping and rubbing

While we are confident in our design, we recommend ensuring footwear is professionally fitted for optimal comfort.
